This is the insert for replacing your existing damaged boiler thread that takes the Safety Valve or Whistle (1/4 inch 26tpi).
Also, this could be used after drilling out a hole for a Pressure Gauge to be fitted (it would however be a bit crowded on top of the boiler!).
